I am an artist painter, fortunate to live in one of the most interesting villages in South Yorkshire - Sprotbrough. My blog is about the subjects I have painted in the past, and more recently, since 2012 when I became Volunteer Artist in Residence, to raise funds for Potteric Carr, Yorkshire Wildlife Trust's flagship nature reserve, the flora and fauna of this most beautiful and interesting reserve.
Rock Cottage is 300 years old and a perfect bed and breakfast with log fires and superb home cooked food with wonderful views of the Black Mountains. These paintings represent part of the work I have been commissioned to do for the owners Sue and Chris.
