I am an artist painter, fortunate to live in one of the most interesting villages in South Yorkshire - Sprotbrough. My blog is about the subjects I have painted in the past, and more recently, since 2012 when I became Volunteer Artist in Residence, to raise funds for Potteric Carr, Yorkshire Wildlife Trust's flagship nature reserve, the flora and fauna of this most beautiful and interesting reserve.
There are still many limits on our freedom of movement due to Corvid pandemic - however - I have my imagination and paints for solace.
These six small works are my most recent wildlife paintings, they include a slice of humor and imagination in their conception, they are presently in stock at YWT Potteric Carr Nature Reserve and online at, -
